Superheroes and Fashion

The Metropolitan Museum of Art looks at comic book influence in the fashion world in "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy."

"They each make their claim on the world by becoming Another. The ideas that dominate fashion — identity, performance, gender, body shapes, sexuality, logos and the quest for state-of-the-art materials — pretty well describe the world of the superhero."

This week has been rainy.

I came across this today:


Yes, it is a doggie umbrella. Apparently it was patented in 1992.

Wet dog smell is pretty bad.

Honey

I bought my first "jar" of honey not too long ago. I've always used the squeeze-bottle kind. I like spooning it out of the jar better.

Honey is a pretty amazing thing.

I think the best word to describe it is: versatile.

Inspiration

Something needed to change so I added a few things to my room.

I have a thing for paper cranes, a good friend of mine prompted me to bring a branch indoors, & I've been thinking about silhouettes lately. I have a wall that reminds me of love.
