Winter still holds on.
The So-So:
I've been experimenting with using an artist board and, also, Sculpey this past week or two but nothing complete has resulted from these new art supply adventures.
The Good:
A Farmers Market morning and Hand Salve from Second Bloom Farm.
I had a day off and was able to enjoy a brunch at Chocolate Maven with my mom, who is in town. I think I found a Santa Fe brunch favorite. Delicious and, to top it off, dessert in the form of a mug of hot chocolate. Happy Valentines!

I have to be honest- I was in Santa Fe this weekend, and we parked right behind SITE while we went to the Farmer's Market...I can't believe I didn't run into you somehow- especially since you went too!
I bought some fabulous yarn and I am so excited. Next time I am looking you up!
you're so ready for WARM!
I don't blame you.
In one month, or two, spring will bring it's charm,
nights will fall cool, mornings will start with dew
(except you're in a desert,
so it'll be bitter cold at midnight
and hella hot at noon)
and as for hot chocolate - well -
i think i needa get there before those hot days
so that i can enjoy that coco treat, after all,
i love it.
(what a great poem!)
I decided to be adventurous last week and try chocolate with chile. I have to admit, it wasn't bad.
