Live Sculpture

I must admit that I am stealing blog content. It's too good not to pass on! I just took a look at the UCD Arts Blog and found out about a project that sculptor Anthony Gormley created as a "living monument." For 100 days, 24 hours a day, one person each hour will take over the Fourth Plinth* in Trafalgar Square.... and it's all live on webcam.

More articles and videos from The Guardian.

*"From 1841 until 1999 there was nothing on the Fourth Plinth in the north-west of Trafalgar Square, and it was sometimes referred to as the 'empty plinth'. It is now the location for contemporary art works, commissioned specially from leading artists, which are housed on the plinth for a year or two each." Find out more about the Fourth Plinth here.
